Being Myles & Katy’s Colshaw Hall Wedding Photographer
When Katy first got in contact, I was over the moon to be their Colshaw Hall wedding photographer. This idyllic venue in Cheshire is somewhere I’d always dreamed to work at as a Birmingham wedding photographer. This was an unforgettable wedding and unique in so so many ways! This gorgeous venue is every Birmingham wedding photographers dream. It truly is a breathtaking location and I’m so proud to now showcase it in my Birmingham wedding photography portfolio.
I’am really excited for you to see the photographs from this special day. From the moment I began to the last click of the shutter, it was a wonderful wedding filled with moments. I really hope the emotions I witnessed and documented come across in my wedding photography. I’am extremely grateful to Myles & Katy for having me as their Colshaw Hall wedding photographer.
How Myles & Katy’s Cheshire Wedding Photography Began
It was a clear warm summers morning and I had arrived early for bridal prep. I’am so glad I let my home with plenty of time to spare as the M6 motorway had some serious problems later that day and a few guests were really late. With destination weddings I will always stay over the night before or arrive several hours ahead of schedule on the day. I think this is of paramount importance as your Birmingham wedding photography is the most special way to look back and re live your cherished memories.
The whole bridal party and both families were a joy to work with. When everyone is full amazing spirits, It’s times like this when it really is so enjoyable to be a Birmingham wedding photographer. This leaves me only having to take care of my lighting and composition, giving me the freedom to really get the creative juices flowing!
I was their Colshaw Hall wedding photographer for a full day. This really allowed me to give them a complete story, of their truly amazing wedding. When you book my full day package that is what you are getting, I’m there all day! I will be with you both for every special moment and can tell the most amazing story of your day.
How The Ceremony Unfolded
With Katy now ready and all of the guests seated it was time for ceremony. As a Colshaw wedding photographer I was very excited for this as the room is just to die for! It’s such a gorgeous building and a perfect place to tie the knot. I absolutely love photographing barn weddings as they have such character. This really also suits my style of Birmingham wedding photography as I love to capture candid images.
The ceremony was amazing and full of beautiful candid moments. You could really feel the love in the air between these two and it shows in their photographs. As their Colshaw Hall wedding photographer, it was really an honour to create everlasting memories for Myles & Katy.
With the ceremony now over, it was time to head over to the reception room, which was out of this world. As a Birmingham wedding photographer I see some incredible places with my job but this venue was something special.
How The Rest Of The Day At Colshaw Hall Unfolded
With the ceremony now over and everyone enjoying reception drinks it was time to take some family photographs. I love this part of the day as it’s so important within my Birmingham wedding photography business to capture this special times. As a Colshaw Hall wedding photographer I knew the grounds here provide an incredible backdrop.
I then took Myles & Katy for some portraits which I was so excited for, as Colshaw Hall has so many wonderful vistas. They were both such naturals and made my job as their Birmingham wedding photography so easy. When my clients have such a strong connection it really shows in the final photographs.
Speeches, Food & Special Moments At Colshaw Hall
Now with everyone sat ready for the speeches, it was time for the fun to begin. I really do love this time as a Birmingham wedding photographer. It’s at this point in the day when the stories come out and the laughs really begin. Katy’s dad gave a really heartfelt speech to kick things off, followed by an emotional and funny speech by Myles. I do always feel so humbled to be a part of these special days with my clients. Being witness to these incredible moments is such a privilege and it’s a real honour to document it.
The speeches were heart felt, emotional and such a pleasure to photograph. As a Colshaw Hall wedding photographer I cannot thank Myles & Katy enough for allowing me to be their Birmingham wedding photographer. So now with everything said and done it was time to let everyone start there evening cuisine. It was a delicious 3 course meal which I was lucky enough to sample myself. This certainly is one of the many perks of the job. Over this wedding season I have sampled some truly wonderful food.
