Redhouse Barn Wedding Photography In Birmingham | Adam & Jessica

When Jessica first got in touch, I was overjoyed to be finally working at the stunning Redhouse Barn. All the venues I get to shoot are wonderful but Redhouse Barn is so perfect for wedding photography Birmingham. In our first meeting we talked about my style as a Birmingham wedding photographer. I was very happy to hear the couple love the photojournalistic approach with some posed images alongside them.

From hearing this description I just knew we would work together perfectly at Redhouse Barn. I do love taking the posed images but where my heart sings is the candid moments.

Jessica & Adam’s Engagement Shoot At Redhouse Barn

A few months ago I met up with Jessica & Adam at Redhouse Barn to capture some images before the big day. I love to do this, to really get to know my clients and get them comfortable with me and in front of the camera. I had no trouble at all, they really were naturals. As your wedding photographer I believe it is my responsibility to guide you and make sure we get the best possible imagery. I was very excited as Redhouse Barn offers such a beautiful setting, this was going to be an amazing day!

For me it is so important that you are happy and relaxed as that is when the magic happens. When you begin to trust me and forget I’m even there, I can really capture the essence of your love.

The Wedding Day At Redhouse Barn Had Finally Arrived

Before we headed over to Redhouse Barn, I got up bright and early and headed over to the church. Jessica & Adam would be tying the knot here in a short while. I was blown away by this beautiful old building and it’s idyllic surrounding. To top it off, I knew in just a short while Jessica would be arriving by hours & carriage. I now turned my attention to capturing the wonderful details in and outside of the church.

Soon after I had documented the scene, Adam arrived looking very dapper in his suit. I love to record the precious moments when the groom arrives. Those first relations from family and friends are truly priceless. In my wedding photography Birmingham I pride myself on capturing these fleeting moments.

With all the guests now present it was time for Jessica to make her grand entrance, which did not disappoint! Two beautiful white horses were pulling along her carriage. It really is every Birmingham wedding photographer’s dream to see things like this. Have a look at the images below to fully appreciate the moment.

Wedding Photography Birmingham | The Ceremony At St Leonards Church

The ceremony was simply wonderful, St Leonards church really did provide a stunning backdrop for such an important moment. In my wedding photography Birmingham I love church weddings. There is something so magical about all the history and the beautiful etherial light that they have inside them.

With the ceremony now over, it was time for a few pictures of the bride and groom. Not forgetting to mention there spectacular exit on house and carriage. Now it was time to continue the party at Redhouse Barn.

How The Rest Of the Day Unfolded At Redhouse Barn, Birmingham

The sun was about to play a huge part in Jessica & Adam’s day. Up until now it had been mainly overcast but we were in for a treat! For me as a Birmingham wedding photographer I actually enjoy a little cloud as it acts as a giant soft box. In other words it gives a beautiful look to my clients without any harsh mid day sun catching them. With that being said I do love to see some sunshine, it really does lift everyones mood.

With the weather now on our side, the rest of the day was just wonderful. Jessica & Adam had gone to great lengths at Redhouse Barn to make sure everyone was entertained. With laser clay pigeon shooting, a saxophone player, a magician and great food the atmosphere was electric.

Before and after the ceremony I was very pleased to be able to get the couple out for portraits. With two totally different lighting conditions it really made for a variety of unique wedding photography. I was really thrilled with the results we got and as a Birmingham wedding photographer I feel it is or paramount importance to deliver to my clients.
