Birmingham Registry Office | Wedding Photography – Rabia & Riz
Birmingham Registry Office Wedding Photography | Rabia & Riz
When Rabia & Riz first got in touch about their Birmingham Registry Office wedding I was really excited. This was to be a two part wedding. At the time of writing I’m yet to photograph their second wedding. The next wedding will be a West Midlands Safari Park. As a Birmingham wedding photographer I’m really looking forward to it. Both weddings will present so many wonderful moments. Having always wanted to shoot at the Safari Park, I cannot wait to see what Birmingham wedding photography I can create for them.
Having shot many weddings at the Birmingham Registry Office I was confident I could create something unique for this wonderful couple. On our first meeting we discussed all the best possible places we could take wedding photography Birminghams. On the day we would also be visiting the Hyatt and Jubilee House. With so many locations to work with I really couldn’t wait to put my Birmingham wedding photography skills to the test.
How The Day Began At The Birmingham Registry Office
So the big day was finally here and I had arrived early. In my Birmingham wedding photography business being early is paramount. I love to have creative freedom to really capture the scene before everyone arrives. There is nothing worse than rushing around on someone’s special day. Upon arrival I was greeted by Rabia’s sister who introduced me to everyone. I spent the first 15-20 minutes just documenting some canid imagery of all the guests. I love to do this at every wedding to really tell the story.
Shortly after Riz arrived with his groomsmen, who were all in great spirits. I was able to photograph some really magical moments of them before they realised I was even there! For me keeping out of the way in these moments is key. So now it was almost time for the ceremony at the Birmingham Registry Office. As a Birmingham wedding photographer this is one of the times I love most about the day.
Rabia arrived just in the nick of time and things got underway. It was an incredible ceremony and I had free rein to move around as I pleased. As a wedding photographer this is music to my ears! I could really make the most of the space and capture the scene from a variety of angles.
Time For Family & Moving Onto Jubilee House, Birmingham
So with the ceremony finished we now headed outside. The beautiful courtyard at the Birmingham Registry Office really worked well for portraits. Birmingham wedding photography is all about working with my surroundings. I knew I could make something special for them in this gorgeous setting. To add the cherry on top, the sun had just made a surprise appearance.
Before I setup any group portraits it was time to throw some confetti! With it being heavily backlit, I had Rabia & Riz walk the opposite way, I’m very glad I did as the images came out perfectly. As a Birmingham wedding photographer, I think these informed decisions can really elevate your images. With some beautiful backlit group photographs finished it was time to move onto couples portraits.
This is a time of the day that I truly love. In my Birmingham wedding photography business I love creating artwork & memories for you. These are the images you will treasure for a lifetime so I make sure I get these perfect for you. The lighting was simply gorgeous and I was very happy with the final images. It was now time to get some more portraits at the Hyatt Hotel & move onto Jubilee House.
The Ceremony At Jubilee House & Some Other Memorable Moments
With everyone now arriving at Jubilee House it was time for the religious ceremony. I was extremely excited to witness this as it’s such a wonderful experience to be a part of. Unfortunately you aren’t aloud to photograph most of the ceremony. As a Birmingham wedding photographer I fully respect this and always do my best to be respectful.
As soon as I was able to start photographing again, the atmosphere was electric. Everyone was so happy and it really was a pleasure to take their Birmingham wedding photography. I even got to try some new foods I had not sampled before. This is certainly one of the perks of my job, I have tried some truly amazing cuisine over the years.
With the day now drawing to a close, it was time to get some more portraits of the bride and groom! Having already got some great images at the Birmingham Registry Office, I wanted to create something differnt here. On our first meeting, I had scouted the venue and I knew the best places to get some unique shots. There was a great rooftop area and a huge chandelier. Have a look at the Birmingham wedding photography images below, to see what I was able to capture.
