“Hi, Phil,

Thanks so much! I’ve had a quick look through and they are so vibrant and capture so many lovely moments, I’m looking forward to going through them with Tim! We are so glad we chose you to do our wedding photography and I’d be happy to write a review or anything if that would be helpful for you.”

Rosie & Tim

Being Rosie & Tim’s Shustoke Barn Wedding Photographer

When Rosie first got in touch, I was over the moon to be their Shustoke Barn wedding photographer. Having worked at this stunning venue many times I know it well and love shooting weddings there! As a Birmingham wedding photographer, I love being able to allow my creativity to flow at such incredible barn venues as Shustoke Barn.

Rosie & Tim’s August wedding was incredible and one of my favourites from this season. They’re such lovely people and were a real joy to work with! As a Birmingham wedding photographer, I couldn’t have asked for more!

I’m really excited to show you all their Shustoke Barn wedding photography. From when I first arrived, right up until the dance floor antics, this wedding was quite simply unforgettable! I really hope you can get a feel of the emotion of the day through my images. For me, that is what Birmingham wedding photography is all about. I’d just like to take this opportunity to thank Rosie & Tim for trusting me to capture their special day. As a Shustoke Barn wedding photographer, I really cannot wait to be back there in the new year!

How Rosie & Tim’s Wedding Photography Began!

I was the couple’s Shustoke Barn wedding photographer in the summer of this year. The weather was incredible, I was very grateful we had no rain! August was an interesting month this year, nobody seemed to be able to predict it! Being a Birmingham wedding photographer, I feel it’s my duty to you to be prepared for anything, During your wedding I’m always looking for the best light and locations. I will take these worries away from you, you’re in safe hands.

As you can’t get ready at Shustoke Barns, Rosie was getting ready at her parent’s house a few miles away. Arriving early, I captured all the wonderful details this delightful home had to offer. One, in particular, was the gorgeous view from the back garden, be sure to have a look at the photos to see it 🙂

To my delight, the girls were in great spirits and everyone was just so excited! This is one of the main reasons I love my job as I get to work around such joy all day, it really does make it a breeze!

Shortly after Rosie had got into her gown, I headed over to Shustoke Barn to prepare for the ceremony. No matter how many times I work at this beautiful venue, I never fail to be in awe of it. The lighting is as good as it gets and every wedding photographer’s dream! I wanted to arrive a little before Rosie so I could get some nice portraits of Tim. There is a spot I just love for groom’s portraits at Shustoke Barn.

I really do love my job as a Birmingham wedding photographer. I get to witness such precious times in your lives and at the same time do what I love. Each wedding is truly unique and different, and documenting the story is what I love the most! Every day I wake up feeling blessed that I get to call this my job!

I’m Very Proud To Be A Featured Shustoke Barn Wedding Photographer!

I can safely say as a Shustoke Barn wedding photographer, this is certainly one of my all-time favourite venues! It really is such an honour to be a part of this stunning venue! Being a Birmingham wedding photographer, it makes me very proud to be connected to such an incredible venue.

How The Ceremony At Shustoke Barn Unfolded

With everyone now seated and eagerly awaiting the bride’s arrival, it was time for one of my favourite parts of the wedding to begin. The ceremony for me is just a magical time, I absolutely love photojournalism in my photography. This is the time of the day when I get to really focus on the raw emotion. For most couples, this is the most heartfelt part of their wedding day and it’s such an honour to document it for you!

As a Birmingham wedding photographer, capturing all the wonderful moments that unfold during the ceremony, is of the utmost importance to me. It really suits my style of luxury wedding photography, I just live for candid & natural moments! After your day is over these will be the moments that transcend time and live through the coming generations. Reminding them just how special of a time it really was!

To my delight the weather was still going strong, meaning we could all make the most of the beautiful outdoor space at Shustoke Barn. Shustoke really does have it all, I know I never stop harping on about it, but it really does. A stunning courtyard for canapés or plenty of stunning views/fields just outside the main entrance.

With everyone’s spirits still high and the drinks flowing, this is the time I like to blend into the wedding party. Being a Birmingham wedding photographer, I don’t like to stage much of this time of the day. It’s all about the honest story and capturing events as they unfold organically.

After some time enjoying the festivities, it was time to take the newlyweds for some portraits. During summer months I like to do 2/3 different sessions for portraits. With the longer daylight hours, it’s great to really make the most of all the different lighting conditions. Rosie & Tim really were fab in front of the camera. They were happy for me to lead them and trusted me to create gorgeous images for them. We ever got out some smoke grenades, which is always fun at a wedding 🙂

Speeches are always one of the best times during a wedding. The very real emotion surrounding this part of the day is why I love them so very much. As a Shustoke Barn wedding photographer, I love nothing more than photographing these fleeting moments. Being able to witness and photograph this incredible time in my couple’s lives really is a privilege.

In my Birmingham wedding photography business, I pride myself on being able to anticipate when a moment is about to happen. Speeches are the perfect example of this. You really do have to think on your feet to make sure you don’t miss a trick! The speeches at this Shustoke Barn wedding were extremely funny and I had a hard time trying to keep a straight face, I’m only human too!

At every wedding, there is always something truly unique that happens. As a UK luxury wedding photographer, I’m always surprised and amazed by every wedding’s uniqueness. Amongst all the beautiful candid moments, something always stands out to me. At this Shustoke Barns wedding, I will never forget a few particular moments.

For me, this moment had to be the first dance! Rosie & Tim were so enthusiastic and full of passion! I remember my own wedding I just swayed as I’m not a great dancer lol!
