Wedding Photographer Sutton Park | Engagement Shoot – Sharna & Greg
Sharna & Greg’s Wedding Photography Engagement Shoot In Sutton Park
Autumn is in full force and the colours for wedding photography are so beautiful at the moment. When I first met up with Sharna & Greg, we had discussed doing their engagement shoot at this time of year for this very reason! Golden hour is an amazing time to do this type of wedding photography. As a Birmingham wedding photographer I love to shoot at this time of day, the lighting is just so perfect. Not only that but I always suggest we do your engagement shoot during the week, so it’s quieter and you get a more intimate feel to your images.
When discussing with Sharna & Greg what type of wedding photography they enjoyed, I was very pleased to discover they loved the candid approach. For me photojournalism is my favourite way to document my clients. I just love capturing moments, this for me is what wedding photography Birmingham is all about.
Why I Would Recommend A Wedding Photography Engagement Shoot
So you’ve just booked your wedding photographer Birmingham, now do you book an engagement shoot? I would strongly recommend it for a few reasons. Firstly do you really want your wedding day to be the first time you’ve been photographed professionally? Meeting up before the big day is great because we all get to know one another better and get some amazing images. My job as a Birmingham & Solihull wedding photographer is to educate you to the best of my ability. On the engagement shoot I will teach you how to pose and become comfortable in front of the camera. This is invaluable on your wedding day and can make all the difference for your confidence.
Another advantage is you can use these images for save the dates or a signing album. Wow your guests with one of these beautifully crafted albums. They will be so impressed with how great you look and how confident you are with your posing. As your wedding photographer from Birmingham it is my goal to make you competant with posing.
How The Wedding Photography Shoot Went In Sutton Park
So the day was finally here and it was time to get some beautiful images of Sharna & Greg. In the days and weeks leading up to the shoot the weather had been awful. It seems luck was on our side as there wasn’t a cloud in the sky and the sunset looked to be a corker!
In my wedding photography I like to capture you at your best, so I feel it’s important that you’re relaxed. With this in mind I start the shoot slow. Usually I will keep a good distance away and let you just be yourselves. I find this is a great way to capture the magic of you as couple. I don’t want this to be awkward or uncomfortable, this is supposed to be a wonderful time. Sharna & Greg were a little anxious at first as they had never had their pictures taken professionally before. I can tell you they had nothing to worry about, both were totally natural in front of camera. It really was a joy to document there wedding photography engagement shoot.
With the weather being kind to us, we got some amazing images! I was really able to get creative with my wedding photography and to my delight the couple loved their images.
