As a Birmingham wedding photographer 2020 shaping up to be a really exciting year for me! Most importantly were entering a new decade and I honestly believe everyone is so excited about it! 2019 was certainly my best year to date and I am so thankful to all my amazing couples. I honestly can’t thank you all enough for trusting me to be a part of your special day. Allowing me to witness and capture those precious moments is such a privilege. This is what I love to do, West Midlands wedding photography is my passion and I can’t wait to help you tell your unique story!

Having shot over 30 weddings this year, I have so many gorgeous images to show you. I wish I could post them all but it simply isn’t possible. Below is a curated gallery of a few of my favourites from the past 12 months. I really hope you connect with the images and understand why I love them!

My 2020/21 West Midlands wedding photography diary is filling up fast. I have only a few selected dates left now, if you’d like me to help tell your story, I’d love to hear from you! Let’s sit down have a cup of coffee and really get to know each other. I love learning about you both, it really helps strengthen our friendship, which makes for wonderful photos on the day.

The Importance Of Good West Midlands Wedding Photography

So you’ve booked the date and therefore found the venue you love. Now it’s time to look for a photographer because you need to have your special day captured. This can be a really daunting task, I know from first-hand experience! Here is a post I wrote on this subject, it should really help you with some decision-making!

In short, though West Midlands wedding photography is so so important. These images will be with you for generations and offer a window back to you on the happiest day of your lives! Wouldn’t you want them to be perfect? I see so many people pick a photographer because they’re cheap and can get the job done, or hire a friend who’s interested in photography. When I hear these stories, it just makes me feel sad. As a Birmingham wedding photographer, I really try to instill the value of good imagery. We are such a visual society and most images are all the same and very repetitive. Good  West Midlands wedding photography can really give you something beautiful and unique.

I’d love to show you how I can help create amazing images of your wedding day. Not just working in Birmingham, I cover Solihull, Warwickshire, and all over the West Midlands. I absolutely love to travel too, I’m shooting lots of destination weddings in 2020 so don’t be afraid to ask me!

Get To Know Your Birmingham Wedding Photographer

This is something I really cannot stress enough! Always try and meet or call your Birmingham wedding photographer before booking them! Having a connection with the person who is going to take your wedding photos, it’s so important! You will be spending most of your wedding day with them and you really do need to get along

Here’s a little fact, a photographer will spend more time with the bride on a wedding day, than her new husband! So having a great connection is an absolute must, don’t settle for anything less, you deserve the best!

Not only the above but if you have a good relationship with your photographer you’ll get better photos! I always love to meet my couples before the wedding, as I like to get to know you. I want you to be comfortable around me so it’s like a friend is taking your pictures. That way it won’t seem forced or unnatural, which makes for beautiful imagery! I still stay in touch with so many of my couples and class them as friends. That for me is a sign we had a great working relationship and were a perfect fit.

Usually, I can recommend things you may not have thought about, to help guide you through this special time in your life. I do this all year round and love the wedding industry! I’ve seen most things and as you’ve probably not done this before, I’m always on hand should you need me!

If you’d like to arrange a consultation to have a chat about your West Midlands wedding photography I’d love to hear from you!
