Notes – Winter wedding, luxury & lots of fun!

A DAY TO REMEMBER AT HAWKSTONE HALL

This was my first ever wedding as a Hawkstone Hall photographer at this stunning venue. I’d done plenty of homework and arrived an hour early to look around. To say I was blown away would be an understatment! This venue really is pure opulance and oozes luxury in every way. To my delight the sun was shinning and it wasn’t even very cold! A near perfect late November day, which isn’t a guarentee in the UK, so I was over the moon for Zara & Ed, I just knew it was going to be a great day!

BRIDAL PREP AS A HAWKSTONE HALL PHOTOGRAPHER!

Zara and her nearest and dearest got ready in the bridal suite, which is one hell of room! With the gorgeous winter light pouring through the windows, it was an optical delight for me to photograph! This was made so much easier by everyone in the room, as the atmosphere was electric and there were plenty of laughs going on, my idea of a perfect bridal prep! Now would probably be a good time to mention Zara’s wedding gown. This was a little bit special and I belive it was bespoke! Make sure to check that out on the pics 🙂

THE CEREMONY AT HAWKSTONE HALL

If you haven’t seen this space before, I’d strongly recomend having a look at the pics below, it’s out of this world! I don’t think I’ve ever seen a chappel quite like it before. The sheer size and grandious of the building, was truly breathtaking! Did I forget to mention how beautifully lit it was, that lovely natural light was spilling in!

With everyone eagerly awaiting the arrival of Zara, the atmosphere was building and everyone was  so exctied for these two to be wed. As I expected the ceremony was stunning and really heartfelt. Having such a zast space to work and not being pinned into one spot, I was really able to tell the story the way I like to!

THE CELEBRATIONS

As you can imagine, this was a truly awesome wedding in every way and the celerbrations certainly reflected that! As a Hawkstone Hall photogrpaher, I was spoilt for choice with stunning backdrops at every turn and truly wonderful grounds for photos! With it being November, the guests stayed indoors for the first parts of the celerbration, however I managed to convince them to come outside for some family shots! The front of the venue really does look spectacular for family formals.

Now it was time to take Zara & Ed off for some portraits, which I’d been looking forrward to doing all day. We were able to explore the grounds in a golf buggy, which is always the best way to get around 🙂

The weather was still in fine form and I am so happy with how the shots came out, these two were such naturals in front of the camera, which really shows!

To top it off, Ed and boys all grabbed some smoke grenades and had some fun photos with those.

Finally it was time for the dancing and this again continued in theme with the whole day.  Fun, high energy and full of luxury!

THANK YOU!

I feel I need to take this opportunity to thank Zara & Ed for allowing me to be a part of their special day! I loved every minute of it and I’ll never froget this wonderful experiance as a Hawkstone Hall photographer.
